Mission Control 4 Leadership Dynamics – Leadership nach Stephen R. Covey erlernen (German Event)
August 28 @ 8:00 am - August 29 @ 5:00 pm CEST
For decades, the dogma of efficiency has determined the practice of companies and their leaders. While this focus has produced great successes and immensely increased the quality of life for many people, its side effects are also becoming increasingly apparent.
In many different areas, such as education, politics and the economy, structures have emerged that, in the worst case, can lead to the destabilization of our free democratic basic order and endanger the well-being of people and our planet.
Especially in today’s world, it is therefore more important than ever to focus on the principles of effectiveness in order not only to tackle the right challenges, but also to solve these tasks in the right way. From my personal and professional experience as a management consultant, I know that the seven timeless principles of effectiveness described by Dr. Stephen R. Covey in his classic of business literature are the right way to tackle these major tasks. Because in the age of digitization, there is also a noticeable trend: leadership is once again being focused on more strongly and is being demanded by the younger generations in particular. For example, corporate culture is becoming the ultimate competitive advantage.
As we all know, leadership always means being part of the solution instead of part of the problem. For each and every one of us, it means being proactive, thinking about tasks from the end and prioritizing them according to importance, acting according to the win-win principle, seeking first to understand and then to be understood, creating synergies, and also not forgetting to sharpen one’s saw regularly. These are exactly the seven timeless principles of effectiveness that Dr. Stephen R. Covey describes in his unique book and that you will learn in this seminar.
Decades of practice in applying these principles show that they can help anyone to be more successful in their personal and professional lives. Thus, with his books and his life’s work, Dr. Stephen R. Covey has left the world an outstanding legacy whose relevance is as timeless as his principles of effectiveness themselves.
Knowing this, I begin every consulting project with training in the “7 Ways to Effectiveness” and can be confident that an effective corporate culture will be created and strengthened in my clients.
