WS “Blindspots in innovation: how our brain sabotages innovation and how we can solve that?” by Kamil Barbarski
10 November 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm CET
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” – Albert Einstein
Everybody knows that great innovation ecosystems are built on culture, mindset and leadership. But only few work explicitly on these topics. It’s more and more about doing innovation with tools, methods, KPis and processes but not about actually being innovative. In this session we will look at our brains and the neuroscience of innovation. We will learn about cognitive biases that prevent people from being truly innovative and experience interventions proved by companies like Google, SAP and Salesforce that can help us to overcome these.
Kamil Barbarski is an entrepreneur, innovation facilitator and agile coach. He combines innovation with what he learned in being a certified teacher for Search Inside Yourself – a Google born leadership program for mindfulness-based emotional intelligence backed by neuroscience.
